Ages 4 to 6 are in an important time of child’s development. Students of Karate learn about building character, concentration and listening skills. As well as learning respect for oneself, others, and improving self-esteem. Karate Kids also improve coordination and motor control all while having fun and working hard to achieve their next rank.
Karate training increases stamina, coordination, balance, and flexibility. Karate students also develop discipline, focus, respect for others, and confidence. Studies have shown that children who do karate often show significant improvement in concentration and self-discipline – both in school and at home. In fact, many parents whose children have attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) report great success with these programs because self-control and concentration are exactly the skills underdeveloped in ADHD kids. Students as well are encouraged to set their goals in Karate. Whether they just want to learn the art or train to compete, we offer the best to everyone who is willing to commit.
